                  magic.

through vast forests, plains and mountains in search of
the keys to ultimate power: the Stars of Timmoran. Build

Citadels

Nominated for the German Game of the Year in 2000,
Citadels has finally arrived in an English language
edition. Game enthusiasts of all genres will be enchanted
by this wonderful game of bluffing, deduction, and
city-building. Wrapped in a medival theme and
gorgeously illustrated, players seek to be the first to
complete a grand city of their own. Each game round
players secretly take the roles of either the King,
Magician, Architect, Assasin, Thief, Bishop, General, or
Merchant and seek to use the powers of such offices in
their efforts to win the game.
As an additional bonus, the English version will ship with
10 new cards designed by Bruno Faidutti himself. These
cards feature new locations and new characters to make
your game of Citadels even more diverse than the
original German version.  $19.95

Delta V

The newly discovered Delta V asteroid field
hosts a multitude of mineral riches and your
company must be the one to profit from
     them. Other companies have begun
competitive bidding for the asteroids as they
are surveyed by the SOL government -- but
you will use bribery, economics and
(sometimes) brute force to claim every stone,
every piece of precious rock. You will drain
the profit from the belt, and others will crawl
back to earth bankrupt and beaten. You will
rule Delta V. You know you will.
Designed by Christian T. Petersen and Darrell Hardy,
Delta V is a clever, colorful, and affordable game of
memory, strategy, and just a pinch of backstabbing. Rival
mining companies explore asteroids to reap their mineral
riches. Remember which asteroids hold which minerals,
bid for the proper contract, and struggle against nasty
competition. All in a days work at the Delta V asteroid
field. $24.05

Drakon

The ancient dragon lifts her head from
where she lies on the sprawling treasure
hoard. Her magical senses quicken and the
blood begins to surge in her veins as the
faint sounds of intruders reach her ears.
   Greedy adventurers have invaded her
home once again! Drakon is old and tired
and not quite ready for dinner, so she
decided to play a little game with her
                 visitors...

You are trapped in the dark magical vaults of the evil
dragon, and only one of your party will survive. Collect
asmuch gold as you can carry and be the first to escape
the magical vaults. Otherwise, you're dinner!

Drakon is an entertaining boardgame of chases, tricks,
and traps. Build Drakon's vaults tile-by-tile as you race
for the prize and attempt to thwart you opponents' every
move. Each time you land on a tile, a different effect
may occur. Below is the master symbol list of tile icons.
Drakon is a complete game with more than 100 full
color game pieces, playable in 20 minutes to an hour,
suitable for 2-6 players ages 10 and up.

The old dragon Drakon has some new tricks! Not only is
she forcing her prisoners to race through her dungeons
collecting gold, but now she has revealed a treacherous
new maze and is chasing the prisoners herself!

Drakon: Expansion One contains 48 new tiles, a
movable dragon counter, and rules for 14 new chamber
actions (including a secret passage, a magic harp, a
double gold room, and more) that you can add to your
Drakon game. You need a copy of the Drakon board
game (second printing) to use this expansion.  $14.95

GolfMania

It's just like playing golf -- only faster, funnier, and
uses cards and dice instead of balls and clubs. Bad
pants, while recommended, are not required.

Okay, it's nothing like playing golf. But it's still a
                 lot of fun!

Golfmania is a wacky, fast-paced card game for 2 to 6
players. The object of the game is to complete 18 holes
of golf through equal parts luck, strategy, and the sincere
desire to see your opponents suffer. It's a game the
whole family can enjoy: the rule are simple, the cards are
fun and colorful, and you can play it in under 20 minutes.

Here's a quick overview of what the game is like: At the
beginning of each turn, a "Hole" card is drawn. Each
Hole card is worth a certain number of hole points if you
win it, so you take a swing (i.e., roll the die) and give it
your best shot. Everyon e gets a chance to swing, and
everyone gets to play cards which affect that swing --
freaky weather, lucky gophers, hi-tech golf equipment
and other zany events are sure to change the way you
play golf.

Did you win the Hole? Great! You're a few points closer
to your winning goal of 18 hole points. If not -- no matter,
you'll just have try again on the next Hole card... and get
revenge on the opponent who nailed you with that nasty
card last turn.

Golfmania makes the perfect gift, either for yourself or
for the golf-lover in your life.

Finally, a Christmas or birthday present for that
     golfer boss of yours.
It's a game you can pull out when the whole
family's over. Even Grandma will enjoy it.
Perfect for the golf nut who has everything.
Can't play because it's raining or the courses are
covered in snow? Try Golfmania instead!  $18.95

with dragons, trolls, or other hazards that rob
your kingdom of its riches.

          mighty MAG BLAST!

Maginor

Deep in the hidden realm of Avalon, the
Wizards High Table has opened a seat for a
person of sufficient skill and great wit. As a
promising mage, and a candidate for the
High Seat, you must visit and impress the 12
Oracles of Avalon. Only the one candidate
that gains the favor of the most Oracles will
gain the high seat and the status of Wizard.
Overseen by the high magistrate Maginor,
the test is about to begin. Will you prevail?

FFG is proud to present Maginor, the new game by
Reiner Knizia. A clever board game of skill, cunning

Orcz

Zocrab surveys his assembled orc hordes
and allows a toothy grin to play across his
scarred face. His cavalry struggles with the
reins, trying to restrain the hungry, restless
wolves. The shock troops stand in rank,
growling, chanting black prayers to the
Dark Lord, and chewing their shields. The
shamans have studied the bones and the
omens are good: The warlord's forces will
taste blood this day! He will beat his rivals
into submission and lead the orcish hordes
to victory over the despised Enemy. The
Dark Lord's gift will be his!

The dark lord Llovar has commanded all the orcs of the
Broken Plain to march against the alliance of elves,
dwarves, and men. As the chief of an orc tribe, you must
marshal your forces of wolfriders, archers, grunts,
champions, and shamans and lead them to war on the
four battlefields of Mennara.

Foul tempered and hideously evil, Llovar can also be a
generous master to those who serve him well. With each
battle won, the Dark Lord awards the orc chief with the
strongest army a gift of goblin slaves. Goblins are
pathetic but wonderfully useful - they can bring you ale,
take out the garbage, and wash your feet. Mostly, they
bring you ale, 'cause you don't really mind garbage and
dirty feet. Win the most battles, hoard the most goblin
slaves, and the other chiefs will bow and grovel before
you!

ORCz is a strategy boardgame for 2-4 players ages 12
and up. Fast-paced and lighthearted, the game is
nevertheless rich in strategic depth that keeps it fun and
exciting, time after time. ORCz is a complete,
stand-alone game and features more than 160 beautifully
illustrated, full-color playing pieces. You can play a full
game of ORCz in 20 minutes to one hour.  $19.95

Through the Desert

From the award-winning game designer
Reiner Knizia comes a game of strategy,
     patience, and cool plastic camels!

The desert is treacherous, mysterious, and without
mercy. But for those willing to risk the dangers of the
shifting, sun-baked sands, the desert holds riches beyond
compare.

In Through the Desert, two to five players each
control a tribe of nomads vying for control of the desert.
By establishing caravans and taking over oases, the
players gain points as their tribes increase in power.

Strategy is essential in deciding how and where to build
your tribe's caravans. There is more than one way to
gain points, and several ways to win. Should you try to
build the longest caravan? Or should you dominate the
desert's oases? Don't forget to keep an eye on your
opponents' caravans, or you may find your own tribe cut
off from valuable water holes.

Through the Desert is playable by ages 10 and up, and
is suitable for the whole family. You can play an entire
game in under an hour.

Through the Desert includes:

     1 game board
     175 plastic camel playing pieces
     30 plastic camel-rider playing pieces
     45 water hole counters
     5 oasis counters
     40 point-counting chips  $37.95

Thunder nebula was insignificant, just another
back-water planet, until a wormhole began to form
